Il materiale di apporto viene immerso nella sorgente termica dove, oltre a raggiungere uno stato plastico avanzato, subisce un&#8217;accelerazione fornita dall\u2019energia di combustione. Le particelle, cariche di energia cinetica, impattano violentemente sul particolare da riportare, ancorandosi ad esso in maniera plastica e perdendo istantaneamente tutto il loro calore.
