<strong>impianti di scarico<\/strong> sono costituiti da una serie di tubazioni, collegate al motore, che hanno lo scopo di evacuare i <strong>gas di scarico<\/strong>. All\u2019interno di queste tubazioni le <strong>temperature<\/strong> raggiungono <strong>valori molto elevati<\/strong>, basti pensare che nei motori turbo si possono superare i 900\u00b0C.<\/p><p>Il calore porta sostanzialmente ad avere due svantaggi.<\/p><p>Il primo \u00e8 il riscaldamento per irraggiamento del vano motore. Un impianto di scarico poco isolato termicamente trasmette il proprio calore a tutte le parti meccaniche ed elettroniche site nelle vicinanze. Le principali conseguenze sono una perdita generale di prestazioni, un malfunzionamento delle parti elettriche e, nel peggiore dei casi, lo scioglimento delle stesse.<\/p><p>Il secondo svantaggio, non meno importante del primo, \u00e8 il rallentamento dei gas di scarico all\u2019interno delle tubazioni dovuto proprio alla perdita di calore.
